Miranda cake is one of our proposals for breakfast or as an afternoon snack. It could be combined with a cup of tea or coffee. It’s also a valid alternative to the classic after lunch/dinner dessert. You can taste it at home, but you can also take it with you, in order to eat an easy snack during the day. Miranda cake is the “cake-version” of our historic product par excellence, Le Ciambelle. It owes its name to grandma Miranda, who conceived this product. It’s a very rich and crumbly shortcrust pastry with almonds on the top.
